FAQ

Where in Los Angeles do the crawls take place?

Currently there is one evening crawl running that begins on Hollywood Boulevard. A second daytime crawl will begin soon in Download LA.

Are there still Covid-19 restrictions in place?

As of right now there are no Covid-19 restrictions in place on the Hollywood Crawl.

Is there a dress code?

We will be visiting more casual neighbourhood pubs. They don’t have strict dress codes compared to night clubs although it’s still recommended you look your best. Sports jerseys or athletic gear are not recommended. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes as the walk between some of the pubs can take up to 10 minutes.

I want to go dancing in a loud club. Is this the event for me?

This is definitely not for you, although there are plenty of great night clubs in Los Angeles you can check out!

What days are the pub crawls on?

The Hollywood Evening Bar Crawl is currently running on most Thursdays. More days will be added to the schedule soon.

For private group bookings we can be flexible with days. Get in touch to arrange a private group booking.

You are 100% guaranteed to participate in multiple tricks throughout the night. If you would prefer to just watch and not participate you can let us know when you book.

I’m running late! What should I do?

When you book your crawl you will receive an email with details about the evening. Included in this will be a phone number to call if you are running late. We’ll then co-ordinate a place to meet you to join the remainder of the bar crawl.

Why was my crawl cancelled?

Although we endeavour to ensure every crawls happen, we may in very rare occasions have to cancel a crawl.

We require between 4 and 10 customers a night. Due to covid-19 the tourism industry is still in recovery. If we cannot guarantee at least 4 customers unfortunately we have to cancel the crawl. If this happens, you will receive a full refund.

Entertaining our guests is our top priority, so rest assured we do everything in our power to make the crawls happen each week. The best thing to do is book in advance to secure your spot!

What time does it start and end?

Hollywood Evening Bar Tour – We meet at 7pm, although you should aim for 6:45pm to allow for the notorious L.A. traffic. We typically aim to be in the last bar between 10pm and 11pm, however you’re welcome to continue partying through to the wee hours if you like!

Downtown Day Drinking Dive Crawl – We meet at 1pm. Again, aim for 12:45pm to allow for traffic. This crawl will wrap up between 4pm and 5pm.

Where do we meet?

Hollywood Evening Bar Tour – The initial meeting point is outside the Hollywood/Vine Metro station on Hollywood Boulevard, directly across the street from the Pantages Theater. Click here to see it on Google Maps.

Downtown Day Drinking Dive Crawl – Meeting point will be revealed soon!

We typically aim to hit four bars throughout the crawl. This can be changed in private bookings.

Can I order food at the bars?

Although a few of the venues do have food options, it is recommended that patrons eat somewhere before the crawl starts to ensure everyone can leave each bar at the same time. If you would like to eat out, a good idea is to book somewhere nearby around 5pm.

Hollywood Evening Bar Tour – Wood & Vine is nearby and great for a pre-pub crawl meal.

Downtown Day Drinking Dive Crawl – Check out The Grand Central Market for amazing lunch options before the crawl.

Will we always have somewhere to sit?

The bars generally have tables available, but on busy days we may have to stand. The magicians can perform tricks to both a seated and standing audience. If you have a medical condition that requires seating, please let us know ahead of time so we can consult with the bars.
